By using a single skillet, the smoky juices from the sausages cook right into the potatoes, the cheese sausages create pockets of melting goodness, and the burger patties are transformed into perfectly seasoned, juicy meatball-style bites.
The Artisanal Chicken & Cheese Skillet Hash

Ingredients:

2 Chicken Burger Patties (400g pack)

3-4 Artisanal Smoked Chicken Sausages (250g pack), sliced into coins

3-4 Chicken Cheese Sausages (250g pack), sliced into thick chunks

3 large Potatoes, diced into small ½-inch cubes (peeled or unpeeled)

1 Large Onion, chopped
-
1 Bell Pepper (Capsicum), chopped

2 cloves Garlic, finely minced

1-2 tbsp Olive oil or butter
-
Seasonings: ½ tsp smoked paprika, ½ tsp dried oregano, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Optional garnish: Fresh chopped parsley or green chilies for a kick
The Method
Take two of your Chicken Burger Patties and roughly break them apart into small, bite-sized rustic meat chunks or mini meatballs. This gives the hash a great chunky texture.
To ensure the potatoes get perfectly crispy without burning the meat, toss the diced potatoes into a pot of salted boiling water for 5 minutes just until slightly tender, then drain and pat dry. (Alternatively, microwave them for 3 minutes).
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil or butter in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chunks of Burger Patties, the Smoked Chicken Sausage coins, and the Chicken Cheese Sausage pieces. Sear until they develop a beautiful golden-brown crust and the cheese sausages just begin to ooze. Remove the meats from the pan and set aside, leaving the flavorful oils behind.
In the same skillet (add a touch more oil if needed), turn the heat to medium and throw in the par-cooked potatoes. Cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes to let them get a golden crust, then flip. Add the onions, bell peppers, and minced garlic. Season with paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Sauté until the veggies are tender and the potatoes are perfectly crispy.
Toss all the cooked chicken meats back into the skillet with the potatoes and veggies. Stir everything gently for 1-2 minutes until heated through and the flavors meld together.

Serve this straight out of the hot skillet.
